This course applies to anyone working on site-based roles and is programmed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed, to Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations in lifting, carrying and placing of materials.

What’s involved?

• Plan and prepare for excavator operations
• Drive and operate excavator using techniques suited to earthmoving equipment capabilities, site and work conditions, and according to workplace procedures.
• Monitor hazards and risks during operations, and making sure safety of self, other personnel, plant and equipment
• Dispose of or recycle materials and clear work area and based on workplace procedures
