The EWP Yellow Card is the industry-standard qualification for operating mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) under 11 metres, including scissor lifts, vertical lifts, trailer lifts, and boom lifts that don’t require a High Risk Work Licence.
Accredited by the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA), this one-day course covers safe operation, hazard identification, equipment checks, use of safety devices, and emergency procedures.
Participants complete both theory and practical assessment to demonstrate their skills, receiving a nationally recognised Yellow Card on completion. The Yellow Card is widely required by employers and major sites for legal and insurance compliance.
