The Telehandler Gold Card, issued by the Telescopic Handler Association of Australia (TSHA), validates a participant’s ability to operate telescopic handlers (telehandlers) safely across agriculture, construction, and industrial applications.
The course is designed for units under 3 tonnes or machines without the need for a High Risk Work Licence, focusing on pre-operational checks, safe operation, load charts, and attachments.
Training is conducted on-site or at a training facility, with hands-on activities and theory assessment.
On successful completion, graduates receive a TSHA Gold Card, which is recognised nationally and required by many major worksites.
Prerequisites: Minimum age 18, basic English skills, and ID. Manufacturer-specific or HRW licensing may be required for certain attachments (e.g., EWP or crane).
