Shane is a loyal, honest and multi-skilled professional who has had extensive hands on experience working in the construction, mining and renewable energy sectors. Shane has over 30 years’ experience and has utilised his extensive skillset to provide supervision and safety training across many industries.
Shane’s Key Achievements include:
- Successfully managed the delivery of Over Size Over Mass loads ranging up to 110 tonnes in weight and 90 metres in length from Port Kembla to the Biala Wind Farm with zero incidents.
- Achieved a logistic benchmark for the pre install including the offloading of wind turbine components and timely erection to increase the site productivity with zero incidents and well before the end contract date.
- Cemented a positive safety culture for all Ares staff.
- Conducting competency assessments, issuing notice of satisfactory assessment, and undertaking any other assessment tasks relating to high risk work licences. Assessing Licence to perform Dogging, Licence to perform Rigging basic level & Personnel and Materials Hoist.
- Successfully trained courses in high risk work licences including; Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane up to 20 tonne, Licence to perform Dogging, Licence to perform Basic Rigging, Licence to operate Elevated Work Platform, Licence to operate Personnel and Materials Hoist, Licence to operate forklift, Licence operate Vehicle loading crane, Yellow Card, Gold Card & Overhead Gantry Crane VOC.
- Created compliance documents and achieved efficiency of the plant and equipment inspections as per Australian Standard
